This replica of the famous Navy
Phoenix missile is a sturdy versatile
rocket that will turn heads on the flight line. The kit stands 58" tall and is
5.5" in diameter. It comes standard with a 54mm motor mount. If built per
instructions, the rocket will weigh 8 pounds (including nose weight for
balance). We recommend a 45" to 60" parachute depending on your flight weight
and landing area.
The kit includes a pre-fiber glassed airframe and fiberglass nosecone. All rings
and fins are Baltic birch. The edges of the fins are pre-shaped for you to save
time and effort in
finishing. The Phoenix kit is designed to fly on High thrust H motors up to full
K motors.
Engineered for fast and trouble free building, this kit can be built without any
special tools
or materials.
